Job description
We are looking for an experienced Chiller / AC / Cold Room HVAC Repair Technician to join our service and maintenance team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing commercial chillers, central AC systems, split/concealed AC units, cold rooms, and walk-in freezers.
The position is focused primarily on mechanical overhaul, troubleshooting, and repair work, with the ability to diagnose and resolve HVAC issues independently.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns in commercial air-cooled and water-cooled chillers up to 300 tons independently.
- Diagnose and repair cold rooms and walk-in freezers.
- Troubleshoot and repair central air-conditioning systems without assistance.
- Diagnose and repair inverter-type split and concealed AC units.
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and overhaul of HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
- Identify the root cause of equipment failures and carry out appropriate repairs.
- Conduct testing and commissioning after repairs to ensure proper system operation.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
- Follow safe working practices and maintain proper service standards.
- Maintain service records and report major equipment issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial chiller and AC repair.
- Strong practical experience in chiller troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience working independently on air-cooled and water-cooled chillers up to 300 TR.
- Practical knowledge of Daikin AC error codes and Daikin inverter AC systems.
- Hands-on experience with cold rooms and walk-in freezers.
- Experience with central AC, split AC, concealed AC, and inverter systems.
- Good understanding of both electrical and mechanical HVAC faults.
- Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Candidates with relevant technical/vocational qualifications in HVAC or Refrigeration will be preferred.
