Job description
The Female KG Helper is responsible for supporting teachers and young students in a <b>kindergarten environment by maintaining classroom cleanliness</b>, assisting with student care, and ensuring a safe, organized, and nurturing learning atmosphere. The role involves providing daily assistance with classroom activities, hygiene support, supervision during breaks, and preparation of educational materials while promoting the well-being and comfort of students.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Clean spills, tables, floors, and other classroom areas before and after activities and snack times.
- Support students with daily needs, including escorting them to the bathroom, nurse, or other designated areas.
- Assist children with personal hygiene, including hand washing, toileting, and dressing when required.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials, including cutting, gluing, sharpening pencils, and arranging learning resources.
- Monitor and supervise students during breaks, art classes, and other activities.
- Maintain and organize art supplies, tools, and classroom equipment.
- Assist in displaying students’ artwork and preparing bulletin boards.
- Handle garbage collection and disposal while ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Support the distribution of provisions, supplies, and soft pack items as required.
- Promote a positive and caring environment for children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Requirements
- Completion of Secondary Education (12 years of schooling).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience, preferably in housekeeping, childcare, kindergarten, or school support roles.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of spoken Arabic will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Physically fit and capable of performing daily classroom support duties.
- Willingness to work with young children and support their educational and personal development.
