Job description
The Heavy HIAB Truck Driver/Operator is responsible for driving and <b>operating HIAB-mounted heavy trucks for lifting</b>, loading, unloading, and transporting heavy materials and equipment. The role requires safe operation of both the vehicle and crane system while ensuring compliance with road safety and site regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate HIAB truck for transporting heavy materials and equipment to project sites.
- Perform loading and unloading operations using the HIAB crane safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily vehicle and crane inspections before operation.
- Ensure proper securing of loads during transportation.
- Follow delivery schedules, supervisor instructions, and site safety procedures.
- Maintain trip records, delivery documents, and equipment logs.
- Report any vehicle or crane maintenance issues immediately.
Requirements
- Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle License is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a HIAB Truck Driver/Operator.
- Knowledge of crane operation, lifting techniques, and load securing.
- Good understanding of UAE road safety and construction site regulations.
- Ability to work 10 hours per day as per company requirements.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy-duty operations.
