Job description
The Soil Lab Site Technician (Trainee) – Cum Driver will be responsible for supporting <b>soil testing and site laboratory operations</b> while also handling transportation duties as required. The candidate will undergo technical training to perform soil testing procedures and assist engineers in field and laboratory activities. This role is primarily focused on technician duties, with <b>driving as an additional responsibility.</b>
Responsibilities
- Assist in soil sample collection, testing, and analysis at project sites.
- Transport soil samples, equipment, and materials safely to and from project locations
- Support engineers and senior technicians in conducting field and laboratory tests.
- Maintain testing tools, equipment, and ensure proper calibration.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site reports and testing records.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines during site operations.
- Operate company vehicles for project-related transportation when required.
Requirements
- Valid Saudi Driving License is mandatory.
- Previous experience as a Driver is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and undergo technical training in soil testing.
- Must understand that the primary role is Technician, not Driver.
- Basic knowledge of construction site operations is an advantage.
- Physically fit and ready to work on-site.
