Job description
The Wheel Loader Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating wheel loader equipment to <b>load, transport, and move materials such as sand, gravel, soil, aggregates, and other construction materials.</b> The role requires adherence to safety regulations, daily equipment inspections, and maintaining productivity standards while supporting construction, mining, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate wheel loader equipment safely and efficiently according to company procedures.
- Load, transport, stockpile, and move materials as directed by supervisors.
- Conduct daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections of equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any defects, malfunctions, or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and operating procedures.
- Follow traffic management and worksite safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with supervisors, ground workers, and other operators to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Minimum Secondary School Certificate (10th Pass or equivalent).
- Valid Heavy Vehicle/Heavy Equipment Operator License.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating wheel loaders in construction, mining, industrial, quarry, or infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of wheel loader controls, operating techniques, and safety procedures.
- Willingness to work extended hours and shifts as required.
